RemovePeople.ai (the "Service") is operated by BTCX Ltd (Company No. 15156745), registered in England and Wales. Registered office: 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, England ("we", "us", "our"). Contact: support@removepeople.ai.
By accessing or using the Service, including uploading an image, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be 18 years or older to create an account or use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.
Provide accurate, complete information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. We may suspend or close accounts to protect users, investigate abuse, or comply with law.
We provide automated AI image editing to remove selected people from photos based on your instructions. Results depend on input quality (lighting, motion blur, occlusion, crowding) and may not be perfect. Previews and downloads are provided "as is".
You must not:
We may remove or disable content and suspend access where we reasonably suspect a breach.
Currency. Prices are shown in USD ($) unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes (e.g., VAT or sales tax) may be added as required by law.
Payments. Payments are taken via third-party payment processors. We do not store full card numbers.
Credits (pay-as-you-go).
Subscriptions (tiers).
Free trials & promotions. Trial periods or promotional credits may be offered and are subject to the rules stated at the time. We may modify or withdraw them at any time.
By clicking "Upload" or otherwise starting an edit you expressly request that we begin supplying the digital content immediately and you acknowledge that you will lose any statutory right to cancel (cooling-off period) once performance begins. This waiver applies under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the EU Consumer Rights Directive. If you do not agree, do not start an edit.
Because outputs depend on your inputs and instructions, perfect results cannot be guaranteed. If a failure is caused by our systems (for example, a confirmed service outage or billing error), contact support@removepeople.ai. Where required by law, we will provide an appropriate remedy. This does not affect any non-excludable statutory rights.
We use carefully selected third-party service providers to operate the Service (for example, infrastructure, authentication, storage, payments, fraud prevention, logging, analytics—subject to consent where required—email, and content delivery). Those providers act under contract and process data on our instructions to operate the Service.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free operation. Maintenance and outages may occur. From time to time we may provide beta or experimental features; they are provided "as is", may change or be withdrawn at any time, and are excluded from any service level or support commitments. Support is provided on a best-efforts basis via support@removepeople.ai.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service and all outputs are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory (including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement). Outputs are not professional advice and should not be relied on as such.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of US$100 or the amount you paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
You will defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from and against claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your images, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms, including any failure to obtain required permissions, releases, or licences (e.g., rights of privacy, publicity, likeness).
If you initiate a chargeback, we may suspend your account. If a chargeback is resolved in our favour, you authorise us to charge your payment method or invoice you for related amounts and fees.
Send notices of alleged infringement to support@removepeople.ai including: (i) your contact details; (ii) identification of the copyrighted work; (iii) identification of the allegedly infringing material; (iv) a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorised; and (v) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you are the rights holder or authorised agent.
If your content was removed and you believe this was a mistake, send a counter-notice including: (i) your name, address, phone and email; (ii) identification of the removed material and its prior location; (iii) a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification; and (iv) your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales and, if you are in the U.S., the federal district court for your address, and your agreement to accept service from the complaining party.
We may terminate accounts of users who are the subject of repeat infringement claims.
You represent that you are not located in, under control of, or a national/resident of any country or region subject to UK, EU, or U.S. embargo or sanctions, and are not on any restricted-party list. You will not access or use the Service in violation of applicable export control or sanctions laws.
We are not liable for delay or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, labour disputes, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, internet or utility failures, third-party service outages, governmental actions, pandemics, and natural disasters.
If you reside in the United States, any dispute arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. You and we waive any right to a jury trial. Disputes must be brought only in an individual capacity and not as part of any class, collective, representative or private attorney general action; the arbitrator may not consolidate claims.
Opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration provision within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing support@removepeople.ai with subject "Arbitration Opt-Out" and your account email. This Section does not apply to users outside the U.S.
These Terms and any non-contractual obligations are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction (subject to the U.S. arbitration clause above for U.S. users).
Sections regarding ownership, fees, subscriptions, refund/credit rules, acceptable use, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, arbitration (where applicable), governing law, and this Section survive termination. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent; we may assign in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains effective. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post changes on the website and update the date above. Continued use means you accept the changes.
